Sylas Is Cute!

9/3 Sylas is blowing kisses in a whole new way.  He now sucks the palm of his hand into his mouth and make a "kiss sound" when he pulls it out.  : )  The precious smile that follows is amazing too!  He's so sweet and special! <3  The reaction on Chase's face when he realized that Sy did that was so cute!  He loves his baby!

Love that cheesy smile!
9/12 Big bubbas are at school and Sy is just quiet today.  We think he misses them.  Letting him explore the deck and he's being SO good.  Staying on it and playing sweetly.  Pretty sure he thinks he's bug stuff getting to be out there!  : )

Milo's robe looks pretty ding dang cute on baby Sy!
...and he totally knows it!

Someone is becoming a climber!  And again...is proud of himself!
Comfy there??  ; )

9/20 Sy actually SAYS "goo goo gah gah"!  Haha
Oh my goodness....cheeseball!
Look at that little tiny finger....💙 Makes me warm and fuzzy inside!
Just Sy and I at bedtime because big boys stayed the night at Grandma's.  He doesn't like to snuggle too much right now.  He's in a "on the move" phase.  Which makes me sad and long to HOLD him...But, I hope and pray that this is just a phase and he will want to snuggle again soon.  He did let me read him a story before bed though.  Special times with my little sweetie!

"wehwoah" : )
9/24 We spent a lot of time at Grandma's this weekend so he is really enjoying being by himself and playing so good in his room while the big boys take a bath.  He is so into everything lately and can be so onery that this is soooo nice!  I love it when he does this 💙 Oh, and the cheesy grin he gave me when I said his name for a picture was just icing on the cake!

He climbed up on the footstool and wanted to brush his teeth too 💙  He's going to learn things quick watching those big brothers!

Look at that CURL!!! 😍
Loves being one of the big boys!
💙

He was a good boy shopping with Mommy and Grandma..so Grandma got him this new monkey.  He's so special to ALL of us!

8 Years

Look at us...8 years later!  Our 7 year old took our picture...if that tells you how much has changed in those 8 years!  Haha.
Got my ring cleaned.  Looks wedding day sparkly!

We treated ourselves to sushi to celebrate.  Nothing better if you ask me!  This was our first time not going to La Tavola for our anniversary.  But both of us didn't even notice or remember til afterwards.  We had a gift card to Shokai so we were just set on going there I guess.  Haha.  Not to worry La Tavola...we'll be back!  ; )
I am so thankful for US...the ups...the downs...they're all better TOGETHER.  Love you, JP!

My Snuggle Bub

He still loves to snuggle...and I love that he does.  He always puts his head on my arm like that when we fall asleep snugglin'.  One of the best feelings in the world!  I will forever remember and cherish these moments.

Prison Tour

Bobbi had the opportunity to take her family on a tour of the old prison if we wanted - so we took her up on the offer!  If I would have had to stand in that terribly huge line and wait for hours to do it - then I most definitely would not have.  But this was perfect.  We got to go into more areas and see more then they do on the actual tours too.
Everything was left just like it was when they left...which was so crazy to me.  Stuff that is still perfectly usable is just still sitting there.  It's very much just an "abandoned" feel around there.
The buildings are SO old.
This is one of the tunnels between the cells where they fix their toilets and what not.
The big boys liked it I think but didn't really understand completely.  Which is fine!

I was getting annoyed because some of the group we were with was talking about it being possessed and creepy...and I just don't get into all that superstitious crap or like the thoughts of my kids getting into it.
The chow hall.
This was one of their ovens.  A full person could fit inside there...crazy huge!
Their menu still up on the wall.

This was on the wall in the gym....and I thought, inmate or normal every day human..this is true!

Once it started getting dark I was ready to get out of there.  The fact that it locks and it is still razor fenced and everything is a little spooky to me...knowing there is no way out if you get locked in.  Anyway...cool experience...now we can say we've been inside!

Camp Out

A couple days before Chase's first boy scout camp out we took a drive out to camp eastman to get a feel for things.  I know I like to have an idea of what to expect when I do new things...and guess who else is the same way?  My Bub!  So, I knew this would be good for him (and Momma).  ; )  The guy in charge of the place showed us around a little bit and we walked and explored the area some too.  It's really nice up there...we were surprised!  So now you better believe that Chase is even MORE excited for his camp out then he was before!
Next up...trial run on the new tent!  Boys got busy and put it up...
...while I wrapped up in a blanket and watched.  Haha!
We just got a small tent for now...because there are no promises I will be joining them....ever.  Haha! (kidding)
Not thrilled that Mom wanted ANOTHER picture.  Haha..turds!
The day finally came...and off they went (with less in tow then I thought they needed...but oh well)!
Chase was SO excited.  I was sad to miss it because it was a FIRST....and I've been there for all of the firsts.  (I like it that way).  But I just kept telling myself it was OKAY for this one to be Josh's to experience.  Yes, a lot of other families all attend..as a family.  But, we have a baby and it just wouldn't have worked out too well I don't think.  So...one on one Daddy/Bub time it was!  Oh, and we let Chase have his new boots a little early because we thought they'd be perfect for his camp out.  : )  He was one HAPPY boy!
That same night was Kyle and Carrie's wedding reception.  They had it in the new part of the Smokin' Gun lodge.  Holy crap that place looks awesome!  Super nice!  Anywho...Mera was very curious about Sylas.  Sylas was not so curious about her.  Haha.  He just looked at her like she was crazy.
Milo played with Kayden the whole time!  LOVE!!! I still think it is so awesome that Kayne is living on through him.  And oh my gosh!  Doesn't he look like him?!  I would have loved to stay longer and let them play longer...but Sylas would not stay off the steps.  Milo couldn't stop talking about Kayden after we left.  <3 I hope they can become friends!
It felt so strange having a one on one bedtime with Milo.  There have been plenty of times that Milo wanted to stay the night at Grandma's but Chase came home...so I get one on one bedtime Chase snuggles more often...but it was nice to get Milo snugs this time!
My one request from Josh was that he took some pictures for me!  ..and he did good!

I love this so much!
He got a new badge!

Snuggled up for bed!
Hahahaha!  I TOLD Josh it was going to be colder than he thought...and look who was right!  : )  He's an awesome Daddy and let Chase have every blanket they had...because it was chilly!  Needless to say, Josh didn't get much sleep.

Breakfast on the camp fire!  This was all SO much up Chase's alley!
Before they left they got to have a lesson in archery.  Josh said Chase had a really good shot for it being his first time..and that he took it really seriously.  That's our boy!
I got the BEST hug ever when they got home...followed by lots of stories.  : )  I'm so glad he had fun!
