Sleeping Cuteness

I thought this was adorable.  He sleeps in the cutest positions.  I just love it!

Chase Loves His Grandpa

Kevin - who used to work for my Dad - bought Chase this little outfit.  It was the perfect gift coming from him.  Of course Chase really does love his Grandpa!  : )

Look What I Can Do!

We put a little toy in Chase's hand and it went straight for the mouth!  He chomped on it for quite a while.  Now that he sees his hands he has been putting them in his mouth a lot more too.  His index finger knuckle is his favorite to go to town on.

Newpher's Christmas

Tristin Newpher has to go to his Dads for Christmas and won't be able to spend it with us.  Tyson and Vanessa had a little gathering at their house so we could all celebrate together and give him his gifts before he has to leave.
I had Chase all decked out in some Christmas duds.  He looked rather cute if you ask me!

Dad and the babies all fell asleep for a bit.  They looked so comfy and cute.

Mom gave all the kids a bag of goodies so none of them felt left out.  They loved it!

Building the Tower

Every year I wrap Mom's presents for her.  It has become a little tradition to have the boys all help me build a tower with the presents after I'm done wrapping.  They absolutely LOVE it!  It gets them very excited.  This year I wasn't quite done wrapping all the presents but we went ahead and did it with what was done.  Pretty good tower for not even being all of them though!  Yay...can't wait!

New Tricks

This week Chase has done a lot!  First of all, he is starting to learn how to giggle.  Josh was tickling his feet the first time he did it.  The second time was when I was making silly faces and playing with him.  The third time my Dad was tickling his tummy and he got excited about it.  It is too much fun to watch!  His second new trick is seeing himself in the mirror.  I held him in front of the mirror the other day and when I finally got him to focus and look in it he got a HUGE grin on his face.  He must think that baby is cute too!  The third new trick is seeing his hand.  He puts his little hand in front of his face and just stares at it.  I told him what that thing that he sees is and that it is his and he gets to keep it.  : )

Just Hangin' Out

On Mom's day off Chase and I went over to her house and just hung out all day.  I wrapped some presents and Mom and I made out menus and grocery lists for Christmas.  Chase was awake most of the day - talking more than he ever had before.  He was so much fun.  Isn't his little Christmas outfit adorable?!  Dad fixed supper for us which was yummy.  Owen stayed the night at Grandma's so he was there hanging out with us too.

All Bundled Up

I had some errands to run on Tuesday morning.  I wasn't too thrilled about getting Chase out in the cold, but I just bundled him up in his little bear suit and away we went.  He slept the entire time we were gone so I think he was pretty warm and content.  That evening I went to Burlington to finish Christmas shopping with Mom.  Sandy came and kept Chase for a little while before Josh got home.  I think she loved that!  I had one bottle pumped for Chase while I was gone and it turned out that wasn't enough.  For the first time ever, Josh had to give him a bottle of formula.  : (  It was the saddest thing.  I cried like a big baby about it - I felt like I didn't do my job.  It didn't make him sick or anything and it filled his belly so I suppose just that once it was okay.

Christmas Card Pictures

I bought us all new jammies for Christmas this year and we posed in them for our Christmas card picture.  Mom and Dad came over and took our picture for us and then ate with us.

The Day of Explosions

I started Chase off in this outfit on Sunday morning.  It had snowed so I was cheesy and put him in this polar bear shirt with snowflakes on it for church.  He was cute as a button but decided when we were having breakfast at Mom and Dad's afterwards that he would poop all over it.

Josh then put him in this polka dot outfit.  We went over to his parents house to take them some Christmas goodies.  Chase decided he didn't want to wear that anymore either.  He exploded yet again - this time so bad that we had to cut his onesie off of him and give him his first bath away from home.  He made us work that day - that's for sure!

Christmas Baking Day

It has become a tradition to have a Christmas baking day at Mom's every year.  Us girls and usually a few kids spend an entire day doing it. Our helpers this year were Tristan, Owen, Chase and Eden.  It is always a day full of laughing and having fun.  One of my favorite traditions!

Crazy Hair!

The other night Chase went to bed with perfectly normal hair and somehow woke up with it looking like this.  It was hilarious - I couldn't help but laugh!  Somehow he was still so cute - even with crazy hair.
