My Baby Boy

Biggy brother loves!

Sylas discovered he can reach the piano keys!  His little fingers all go up and down at the same time as he gently tinkles the keys.  So sweet!

Mommy got smooches!  : )  He is getting good at passing them out.  He'll ask for them...even from his big bubbas!

I love these this month..because they are so him.  His onery little face and then his hands clapping together.  Yep, that's our baby!

Squeaky baby!!

Lately Sylas is finding stuffed animals sitting around with a fluffy tail and holding onto it and sucking his thumb just like he does with his blankey.  It is the CUTEST THING EVER!  He is mostly fond of doing it with this little fox.  I'm so in love!

Big boys ride on the road...we sit and snuggle and admire.  My fav! (and Sy Sy likes it too : )

These moments are pure joy for me to watch.  All 3 of them playing together so sweetly...their giggles, their smiles.  It doesn't get any better!  Sylas LOVES it when his big brothers play with him!  This is why he is growing up so fast too - he wants to keep up with them!  He gets so excited and loves to rough house already!

"I cried this morning as I nursed Sylas and snuggled and admired him.  He grew WAY too fast!  I'm having such a hard time accepting that he's almost one.  It makes me so sad!  Thinking about being done nursing him makes me sad too.  I don't feel desperate to do so by any means this time.  I will miss these special bonding times.  I love nursing my babies!  He's been an amazing baby.  We are so blessed with our Sy Jai!  When I changed his diaper this morning he sucked his thumb and pulled his legs up and crossed them like he was in the fetal position.  I took it as him reminding me he is still very much my baby boy.  I don't know how my love keeps growing but it sure does.  My heart is swollen."

There he goes again!  See?!  Sooooo cute!

*6/28 Sy started using his little hand to make a motor noise with his mouth.  The cutest part??  He sometimes gets confused and starts doing his hand motion on his cheek instead of his lips!  : )  So cute!

Now that Milo is on 2 wheels - he can ride the dirt bike too.  And he is ALL about it!  Non stop!  Don't mind that he is in his underwear.  That is VERY typical of Milo when we are outside in the evenings...and I don't even care!  He's cute!

I packed a simple picnic lunch and stuck it in a backpack.  Chase wore the backpack so we could ride bikes to the park and I not smoosh Sylas.

Super simple...super fun.  They loved it!  Unfortunately we didn't get to stay long because it started raining on us.  We rode home most of the way in a light rain...and then as soon as we got all the way there the sun came back out. Ugh!  But you never know!

Haha this picture cracks me up!  This was a spontaneous little visit with Harley and Owen...and they were really having as much fun as this picture looks like they were!  Tyson just stopped by to see what we were up to because Harley was wanting to see the boys.  Worked out perfect!  Nice hot day so they turned the sprinkler on and got on the trampoline.  I love that Owen still gets in there and plays too!

The pool was lime green and nasty so they weren't getting in it at first.  Chase was walking along the bench seat next to it and then accidentally slipped and fell in...and I DIED laughing!  Haha!  His face was great!  I told him he may as well swim in it now!  Then they all got in the nastiness.  Crazy kids!  But it seriously still has to be better than the lakes and rivers we swim in.  Sylas napped through most of their visit so Ty and I sat out under the umbrella and chit chatted.  He woke up in just in time to check things out before they had to leave.

Little snippets of summer fun!

Flippity FLOP

So ya know how on the cartoon channel commercials they're always showing the kids how to make slime??  Well, Chase thought it looked fun and had been asking me all summer to make it.  So - I figured it looked easy enough that we could do it lots of times...and I bought an entire GALLON of glue.  Well, turns out their little recipe is a TOTAL flop!  Big huge ridiculous mess.  I still let the boys touch it but it was not what it was supposed to be...at all!  So now I have a huge jug of glue to do something with.  Eventually maybe I'll get brave enough to try a different slime recipe.  I'm very hesitant now after having to clean this awful mess up though.  Sorry boys, Mommy tried!

LuLaLove

Once in a when I get dressed in LuLa I completely fall in love with it all over again.  It gives me a confidence I never had before...and that feels amazing!  So even if at some point I stop selling LuLaRoe....I don't think there will be a point when I stop wearing LuLaRoe.  I love it too much!

Nature Hunt

I have wanted to do this for a long time...so ya know what?  We finally did it!  We packed us a lunch and went to Davids Chambers for a picnic.  The first time we went there Chase said "this would be a good place to have a picnic" so I promised him we would have one there sometime.  And I TRY to keep my promises to my boys! : )

..but that wasn't the ONLY reason we were there!  We were on a NATURE HUNT!  So fun!

They love it here!  Especially Chase...he is getting more and more outdoorsy and adventurous.

Our sweet little sidekick.  He is such a trooper!  Always happy to just be along for the ride and so good doing whatever we do.

We didn't find them ALL..but we just stopped while we were ahead and didn't keep going til it wasn't fun anymore...ya know?  Davids Chambers was the perfect place for our Nature Hunt!

Milo asked to go to the park before going home...so we stopped at City Park and what do ya know?  We found a tree stump!

Under doggies!  This whole thing was such a fun outing!  I can honestly say I had FUN....we all did! Free, fun entertainment for the whole fam.  Love it!
