4 Months

Last week was Milo's 4 month well visit.  He was 16 pounds 2.5 ounces and 25 1/2 inches long.  He is in the 90th percentile for weight and the 75th for height.  Big tall baby!  His shots made him extra sleepy..so of course I enjoyed the snuggles!  : )
He was a happy talkative guy when he was awake too...such a trooper!
His big brother thought he needed some toys while he was sleeping...haha!

Us

I'm a big boy!  Holding weight on his legs really well now.

Milo drooled a little on his shirt and Chase pointed at it and said "spill".  Haha I love the way his little mind works!
Chase thought it was awesome that Daddy was in his tent with him.  They were hiding from Mom.
I love this.  Milo just hugging on to Daddy's hand.  Awww!!

Fish Fry

Back in "the day" we used to have a fish fry every month or two with Josh's family.  Ever since his parents split up it has dwindled...a lot.  We finally managed to get everyone over on the same evening so we could have one.  Josh had been craving his Dad's fish.  We had it at our house this time which was nice.

Chase was Aunt Taylor's sidekick all evening.  He wore her out!

He got out his play tools and was squeezing George's foot with the pliers.  George acted like it hurt and Chase would laugh the biggest belly laugh!
I have a picture just like this one of me holding Chase in this outfit.  It says "my Mommy is a fox".
Milo was a happy bug that evening - he was letting out some belly laughs too!

Good times and yummy food!

Sleepy Snuggles

A lot of you know that I STILL (as a mother of 2 and at the age of 25) sleep with a stuffed animal.  HONESTLY it isn't so much that I'm attached to the animal but that I like to have something to hold on to while I sleep.  Some would say well why don't you use a pillow or something else..well, I just have gotten so used to the way it feels to snuggle my bunny that it is just what works best for me.  Laugh away - I don't care.  Anyways...ever since Chase got into his own bed he has been snuggling with his "raffi" at night to fall asleep.  I checked on him a few hours after he fell asleep (which I do a million times a night to both of them.  I have to hear each boy take a few breathes before I'll leave their rooms) and he was still snuggling away.  I love it!  ..and if he still does it when he's 25 then that is just fine!  Haha!

Peepaw

Chase calls Grandma and Grandpa "Meemaw" and "Peepaw" right now.  I think it's adorable.  This was a day that we hung out at their house all day while Josh was working.  Chase had just woken up from a nap on the couch and gave Peepaw a hug.  Then they looked out the window to see that it was snowing.  They're buds!  (and I love that!)  : )

Up A Size

All of a sudden Milo's clothes were too small for him again.  At 4 months old he is now wearing 9 month clothes.  Yikes!  I pulled out that size of what we had from Chase and half of the clothes were summer clothes.  I don't think Milo will be wearing that size come summer time!  He did get some fun stuff at Christmas time in this size that I am excited to put on him though.  This little one piece is one of them..so soft and cute!

SO Big!

How big is Milo??  SOOOO big!!  Love my happy boy : )

The Way He Does

This is how Chase has watched TV a lot lately.  Apparently he thinks it's comfortable...even though it doesn't look like it at all!
Mom got a dry erase board and he really liked it at her house so we picked one up for home too.  He loves it.  He sits and really concentrates on it.  He does a good job.
He dumped out his bucket of cars and guys and started putting his little cars in a row.  No one ever showed him that..he just did it.  I think simple things like this are so cool!
Fell asleep with a cracker in hand.  We tried taking it out of his hand after he was sleeping but he woke up out of his sleep and got mad...so we just left it.  Haha!
Later the same day he dumped out his little cars and put them in a row - he went into his room and pulled out all his bigger cars and trucks and put them in a row too.  I wish I knew what his little mind was thinking.  So cute!

Date Night

Happy baby!  It's nice that he is still young enough to not cry or anything when we leave him.  Doesn't make me feel as guilty that way.  Chase has been pretty good about it lately too.

We finally got a date night!  We hadn't been on a date in at least a few months.  It was much needed!  We both don't enjoy leaving the boys, especially overnight.  Josh just likes having everyone home and I like to stay in our routine and not make the boys feel sad at bedtime missing us.  We went early in the afternoon and it worked out perfect because we had some time to ourselves but yet got back at a decent time too.

Snow is Good

We bundled Chase up and let him go out on the deck while Josh was on the roof taking down the Christmas lights.  We caught him dipping his glove in the snow and then licking it off.  Haha - I guess he likes snow!  We are hoping for a big enough snow to make some snow ice cream.  We shall see.

Our World

Sleepy boys..super snuggles...happy Mommy!  : )
Milo went to sleep early so we had a movie night with Bub.  He loved making a "bed" on the living room floor.  SOMEDAY I have will a bigger living room so there can be sleeping bags all across the floor for sleepovers and so on.  Bigger living room, bigger kitchen, bigger garage and my own bathroom.  Someday.

Stylin'

I fixed Chase's hair before we cut it.  Oh man did he look handsome or what?!  He looks like he knew he did in this picture too.  It didn't stay like this for long because he got all roudy and messed it up...but it was cute while it lasted.

Family Baby

Milo is the age where he is doing all sorts of fun things and showing some personality.  He is getting buckets of attention all the time.  For now, he is still the family babe and is soaking it up!  So exciting we get to have another family babe in June when Tyson and Vanessa have theirs.  Love having babies around all the time! ..and love that Milo is going to have a play mate.  Can't wait til March to find out what they're having!!

Big Brother/Helper

Look at my big boy being such a good big brother!  I thought it was so cute because they were just sitting next to each other and he gave Milo his binky and then put his arm around him and held the binky there while he started watching TV...like he was just taking care of his baby.  He is a great big brother and I'm sure will be a great Daddy someday too.

Pretty Pretties

I have painted Dodee's toenails plenty of times but I just recently painted her fingernails for the first time.  She loved it!  She kept looking at them...it was so cute!  Oh..and I did her hair too and it was super adorable.
She had to show them to Grandma too.  : )
Then she ran around and was playing and would randomly stop to look at her hands again.  Love it!

Grandpa's Guys

Grandpa and his guys.  Dad is lucky enough to almost always have one kiddo snuggling with him on the couch.  Even the big boys still will snuggle up next to Grandpa and watch a movie.  I love that they all love him as much as I do.

Tickle Time

We've been having tickling wars at our house a lot lately.  Josh and I will even tickle each other.  Chase thinks it's awesome when we do..haha!  He really gets into it and giggles his little heart out.  Too much fun!

Brothers

Chase was trying to put a toy in Milo's hand.  He sees what we do with him and will do it too.
Here he was trying to put a hat on Milo and completely ended up covering up his face.  Chase tries so hard to play with him.  They're going to have lots of fun together.
Watching a movie at Grandma's.  I can trust Chase enough now to leave Milo by him for a few minutes and know that he won't hurt him.  He is more of a protective/helpful big brother now.  I love that.

Gwig Gwuck

Chase calls this his "gwig gwuck"  (big truck).  It really doesn't get around very well which is disappointing..but he still loves it.
When I was hanging his coat up after they came inside I found these cars in his pocket.  Josh said when they were headed outside he ran back to his room and grabbed a few cars to put in his pocket first.  Haha - don't ya love it?!  He is all BOY.
